It's Time for a Giveaway!

For the 3 or so of you who read my blog, I'm having a giveaway!

That's right...in honor of a new business venture, see here: nashvilleartisans.com, I'm giving away a pair of my Teardrop Guitar String Earrings... All you have to do to enter is tell me what influences your jewelry buying - positively or negatively. Is it price, materials used, one of a kind, availability...? This is for gals and guys!
I will draw a winner randomly on Friday, October 8, so get those responses to me by 10/7 midnight CST. I can't wait to hear what you have to say! Let your friends/family know about it! xox-Robin

Oh, and the winner has a choice of pierced or clip-on.

What influences my jewelry buying is availability of money! Haha. If I have a little "mad money" to spend, I have occasionally bought myself a treat. Price doesn't have to be rock bottom but it should be fair for the quality of the jewelry and workmanship. Availability of the jewelry itself is what probably influences my husband the most. He has been asked to buy handmade jewelry from women he works with and he says, "Sure! Christmas (or birthday or whatever) is coming up and I guess my wife likes jewelry!" He has gotten me some really neat stuff that way.

Hi Robin! I think your jewelry is so fun and unique. I love the handmade qualities and natural materials, and the fact that I know you and that you love what you do. All these things influence my jewelry buying in a positive way. Very exciting that you have this new way of getting your creations out there. I wish you the best success!!

I love jewelery (or anything really) that is handmade and made with true love of the production....I love simplicity and your designs are just so. I also love supporting local artisans that I know and admire ( ;

I am a wanna be artist...someday I will find my niche... right now i am just taking in all the beautiful things that the people around me make!

So excited for this new adventure...
and miss your sweet spirit at community group!

Love,
Lizzy

I guess the first thing that influences me is price. But I also am done buying cheap jewelry that is not well made. So I just have a few nice pieces. I like smaller, simpler designs, especially for earrings, although I have attempted to branch out into some larger pieces.

I think your jewelry is just beautiful, Robin!

I agree with Jeanette. Money influences my purchases! I also like jewelry to be well made, but affordable. This is often hard to find, but you, my friend, make beautiful things that are at great prices!! Keep this trend going! I am blessed to have jewelry in my case that you have made for me, and I think of you every time I wear it. Congratulations on this new venture! May you find fulfillment in creating pieces that glorify Him!

Hmmm, let's see. What influences my jewelry buying? It is usually something I've seen you wear or display! :-) I love your creative mind and love to send business your way!

I love jewelry, or anything for that matter, that has a "connection." For example, some of my favorite pieces of jewelry aren't super expensive and probably wouldn't be considered "stand out" pieces by most; but they're special to me because of who gave them to me, when/where I got them, or who made them. I guess, to be honest, cost is also a consideration because I can't wait to have a little extra $$$$ so I can get one of your pieces. I love it!!!! I'm so excited for you and wish you much success!!!!!

I'd say price. I just don't have much money to spend right now so I tend to make do with cheaper stuff - at least for now.

I like to buy things that support a cause or have a message that I like. I don't budget for new jewelery so, typically it is purchased from someone I know, or from a special event or vacation to have as a reminder. For instance, if I am a tourist of Nashville, I would totally want your guitar stuff to remember music city by much more than a mug or magnet.

i don't wear a lot of jewelry - so for me a piece has to be "it" for me to purchase. Don't get me wrong I don't have tons of $$ but if the piece is "it" i will find a way to purchase it!

I usually only buy when I find a deal or need something for a special outfit. Price plays a big factor, but I love unique.

Guess I'm like most of the rest of you - price influences me when buying jewelry. I do like to find unique pieces though, so I guess this is the place to be! ;)
